What is Video Grader?
An AI analysis tool that evaluates your completed video against proven engagement patterns. It scores your content across multiple dimensions and provides specific, actionable feedback to improve performance before you post.
Submit your video
Upload a video file (MP4, MOV, WebM up to 500MB) or paste a TikTok/YouTube/Instagram link. Video Grader supports videos up to 3 minutes long. Analysis typically completes in 15–30 seconds.
Understanding your grade
You receive an overall letter grade (A–F) plus sub-scores for:
- Hook — First 3 seconds effectiveness
- Pacing — Scene changes and energy flow
- Retention — Predicted drop-off points
- CTA — Closing effectiveness
- Audio — Voiceover clarity and music balance
Focus on your Hook score first — it has the biggest impact on overall video performance. A video with a B+ hook and C body will often outperform one with a C hook and A body.
Reading the feedback
Each sub-score comes with written feedback explaining why it received that grade and specific suggestions for improvement. Drop-off risk sections are highlighted with timestamps so you know exactly where viewers might leave.
Acting on the feedback
Use the “Improve Hook” button to generate alternative hooks for your topic. Use “Adjust Script” to send your video’s transcript to Script Generator for a revised version. Re-grade after making changes to track improvement.
Video Grader learns from millions of data points across viral content. Videos scoring A or B consistently outperform lower-graded content by 3x on average.
