What is Trending?
A real-time trend discovery tool that monitors viral content across platforms. It identifies emerging topics, popular sounds, and format trends (duets, POV, green screen, etc.) before they peak, giving you a first-mover advantage.
Browse current trends
The main view shows trending topics ranked by velocity (how fast they’re growing). Each trend shows: topic/hashtag, current velocity score, platform(s), estimated peak timing, and number of videos using it.
Focus on trends with high velocity but low saturation — they’re still growing but haven’t been overdone yet. These “rising” trends give you the best chance of standing out.
Filter by niche and platform
Narrow results to your specific niche (fitness, finance, beauty, tech, etc.) and platform. This removes noise and shows only trends relevant to your content strategy. Save filter presets for quick access.
Trend details and examples
Click any trend for a detail view showing: growth chart over time, top-performing examples, common hook styles used, and average engagement metrics. This shows you not just what’s trending but how creators are executing it.
Trending is completely free and updates every 2 hours. Check it daily as part of your content planning routine.
Act on trends quickly
Click “Create Script About This” to pre-fill Script Generator with the trending topic. Click “Find Hooks” to search Hook Finder for hooks related to the trend. Speed matters — trends have a limited window of peak engagement.
