Create a deck
Open Story Decks and start one of two ways.
- From a topic: type what the deck is about and let Story Decks draft the slides for you.
- Paste a script: bring words you already have, such as a ScriptHooks script, a blog post, or notes, and Story Decks splits them across slides while keeping your language.
Before it builds, pick a brand kit for the fonts, colors, and logo, a tone, and an arc for how the deck is structured. Choose the ratio here too: 4:5 for feed carousels, 9:16 for vertical stories, or 16:9 for landscape. There is also an option to write a talk track at the same time, so the presenter notes are ready the moment the deck is.
Edit in the workbench
Your deck opens in the workbench with a rail of slides down the side. Click any slide to edit it directly: change the text, set a per-slide accent color, or switch the brand for that one slide. Use AI Edit to have Story Decks rewrite copy or restyle a layout for you, and add an image, GIF, or logo to any slide.
Reorder, add, and remove slides in the rail until the sequence reads the way you want. You always keep the final say: the AI gives you a strong starting point, and every element stays editable.
Write a talk track
A talk track is the presenter script for the deck: the words you say out loud on each slide. Click the Write talk track button and pick a voice and tone, a length per slide, and optionally timecodes. Story Decks then writes a presenter script into every slide's speaker notes.
Writing the track with AI is a generation, so it uses credits. Reading and presenting from those notes is free.
You do not have to generate anything. Paste your own script straight into any slide's speaker notes and the Prompter reads it exactly as written. The AI writer is optional.
Present with the Prompter
Click the Prompter button to enter Present mode. Your speaker notes become a scrolling talk-track ribbon along the top of the screen, and the deck advances itself slide by slide as you read. You look at the audience, read the ribbon, and the slides keep pace.
You stay in control the whole time: the arrow keys override the position to jump forward or back, and Space pauses. This is the built-in ScriptHooks teleprompter, driving your deck instead of a standalone script.
Record the presentation. A Record button sits in the corner of Present mode. Click it, choose the screen or window to share, and it captures your deck and the scrolling talk-track ribbon with your webcam composited into the corner, all as one video. That is the full webinar look: the slides fill the frame and you sit in the corner. It saves a single file to your device when you stop, nothing uploads, and it runs on Chrome, Edge, and other desktop browsers that support screen capture.
Export
When the deck is ready, export it the way you need it: a PDF for sharing or slides, a PNG carousel for posting frame by frame, or send it straight to TikTok drafts to finish and publish in the app. The speaker notes travel with the deck, so the talk track is there whenever you present it again.
